What This Shows Us
Paul writes that if we are faithless, God remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. Read the whole passage: it also speaks about enduring with Christ and warns about denying Him, so this is not an excuse for unbelief. Revelation pictures Christ returning as one called Faithful and True.

God's faithfulness gives us reason to trust Him, to repent, and to keep following.
