What This Shows Us
Jeremiah promised a coming King who would be called "The LORD is our righteousness." Paul explains that God made Christ, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. We cannot make ourselves right with God; it is received as a gift through Christ.

Salvation rests on God's grace, not on your performance.

Lord, I am tired of trying to earn Your approval. Thank You that Jesus is my righteousness. Help me rest in Your grace and live gratefully. Amen.
