What This Shows Us
Hannah prayed to the LORD of hosts in deep sorrow. The title means God rules over the armies of heaven and all creation. Nothing is outside His rule, even when His timing and His ways are not what we expected.
Truth to Remember
No power is beyond God's rule, though His ways may differ from ours.

How can you trust God's rule in a situation you cannot control?
Guided prayer
LORD of hosts, all things are under Your rule. I cannot fix this situation. I bring it to You and ask for grace to trust You with the outcome. Amen.
