What This Shows Us
Isaiah promised a child who would be called Immanuel, and Matthew says Jesus fulfilled that promise. God did not stay distant. In Christ, He came near to save His people.

In Christ, God came near to save His people, and He does not abandon them.

Where do you need to remember Christ is near?

Immanuel, thank You for coming near. When I feel alone, remind me that You are with Your people and that You came to save. Amen.
